Her latest songs were the sound of the summer.

But now Sabrina Carpenter is set to dominate yet another season – as she’s been granted a holiday special!

The pint-sized singer, 25, announced that her Netflix special will land on the streaming service on December 6.

Titled A Nonsense Christmas, Carpenter will perform songs from her festive EP Fruitcake and other chart-topping holiday covers. The show will feature guest performing artists, comedic cameos, and unexpected duets.

Carpenter is producing A Nonsense Christmas alongside OBB Pictures, under her At Last Productions banner.

“The holidays have always been so special to me,” Carpenter told Netflix. “I am excited to bring my take to a classic holiday variety show – infusing my love of music and comedy to make something that is uniquely me.”

Michael D. Ratner, executive producer and founder/CEO of OBB Media, added, “Sabrina’s vision to subvert the classic holiday special has been clear since day one. At OBB, we partner with the world’s most captivating artists to reimagine the expected, and we’re proud of the work by our entire team and want to highlight Simone Spira, the Volara team, Sam Wrench, Nikki Boella and all involved that brought Sabrina’s vision to life on Netflix.”

Announcing the news to her 42.1 million Instagram followers, Carpenter joked, “Never seen me and Santa Claus in the same room.”

Fans went wild for the news.

“Jesus was a Carpenter…. and Santa is Sabrina???” wrote one, while another noted, “SAME INITIALS AND EVERYTHING.”

Someone else excitedly added, “SABRINA CLAUS IS SO BACK!” as another fan wrote, “I’m seated. The Netflix employees are scared and asking me to leave because it’s ‘not December yet’ but I’m simply too seated.”

Many claimed they would be buying a Netflix subscription specifically for the occasion, while others praised Carpenter’s work ethic.

“Bruh how did you even have time to film this, feel like you been on tour all year,” one said.

Another commented, “Sabrina Carpenter really is a silly fun time lol, I love her.”

‘I am filled with gratitude’

Her Netflix special isn’t the only thing Carpenter had cause to celebrate this week.

The Espresso singer scooped up no less than six Grammy nominations on November 8, ahead of next year’s ceremony.

This is the first time in her career that Carpenter has been nominated for the prestigious prizes.

Carpenter – who released her sixth record, Short n’ Sweet, on August 23 – is up for Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Song of the Year for her track, Please Please Please.

She is also in the running to win Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and the coveted Record of the Year gong for her hit song, Espresso.

In a message to fans via Instagram, Carpenter wrote, “This is the first year I’ve watched the livestream where I heard my name! I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamt about this day my whole life so I am filled with gratitude – thank you @recordingacademy.”
