Fortnite is gearing up for its next big adventure: Chapter 6, Season 2 while wrapping up the current season. The new one is named as “Lawless”, offering a new crime-themed world and city known as Crime City.

Battle Pass Skins Unveiled: Hype or Letdown?

Season 2 is going to make a complete shift from this Japanese-themed season toone full of chaos, crime, and more pertinent content. However, Epic Games surprised the fans by revealing all Battle Pass skins before the launch in the X post.

This is quite an unusual move, lifted up curtains from the 7 skins which have received mixed reactions from players. While some players are excited, others are not impressed with the new character designs.

Among the upcoming skins, some have pleased the players, while others have left them disappointed. One of the biggest highlights is the addition of Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, the very first collaboration between two renowned titles.

According to leaks, the Scorpion will also arrive later in the season. Although it is a surprising collab, fans think that it doesn’t seem to fit with the season’s theme; they also feel that the Sub-Zero’s design is too basic.

Another thrilling addition is Midas, which arrives with a new look with long hair and street style dressing. Some players appreciate the change, while others believe previous skin was better.

Moreover, Fortnite has introduced a distinct character, a wolf who is all dressed up in a suit and has a fur cloak. Then there is Pickle Rapper skin, some players find it pretty good while others have turned the skin down as they aren’t finding it cool enough to be played with.

New Crossovers: What’s Coming Next?

This crime-bases theme might be new for players who joined recently but of old ones they have seen this before and some players think that this gameplay concept has been repeated multiple times in past seasons, making it less exciting for such players.

For now one major collaboration has been confirmed, fans are speculating about the others that made to the community through Fortnite leaks. With only one major crossover confirmed so far, fans are speculating other collaborations whose rumors have been around previously.

Like in January, leak suggested that King of Hill and Fortnite crossover will happen in future, bringing Hank Hill as a skin. Furthermore, the discussions about crossover with Grand Theft auto are also happening as this year the release of one of the most anticipated games, GTA 6 is also expected.

As Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2 prepares to launch on February 21, the excitement is mixed with skepticism. Some players ar looking forward to dive in new season, others feel that the upcoming Battle Pass lacks the element of excitement.
