Harrison Ford is having to miss the Oscars after he came down with shingles.
The actor was supposed to be presenting an award but has had to back out due to his illness. He was diagnosed on Friday (28 February) and is said to be “doing OK”.

Shingles is a “viral infection that causes a painful rash,” according to the Mayo Clinic.
Who else is presenting at the Oscars?
The stars expected to take to the stage at the 97th Academy Awards include previous winners Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz, and Whoopi Goldberg. They also include Scarlett Johansson, Elle Fanning and Amy Poehler.

Conclave star John Lithgow will also do the honours alongside Thelma star June Squibb and Wicked’s Bowen Yang.
Other presenters include Gal Gadot, Zoe Saldaña, Andrew Garfield, Margaret Qualley, Samuel L Jackson, Rachel Zegler, Alba Rohrwacher and Dave Bautista.
We can also expect to see Halle Berry, William Dafoe, Lily-Rose Depp, Elle Fanning, Selena Gomez, Cillian Murphy, Bowen Yang, John Lithgow, Emma Stone, Ana de Armas and Ben Stiller.
Who are the big contenders for the Oscars?
Emilia Perez leads on the night with 13 nods, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress. It broke the record for the most nominated non-English language film in the Academy’s history.
The film’s lead actress Karla Sofia Gascón has been absent from various award ceremonies following controversy earlier in her campaign. Several old tweets of her surfaced that contained Islamophobia, homophobia, racism and fatphobia, among other themes.

However, she will be present at the Oscars.
The Brutalist, The Substance and Wicked are just behind with 10 nods.
The Bob Dylan film A Complete Unknown, papal thriller Conclave and indie film Anora also stand a chance of winning big.

The 97th Academy Awards will air at 4 pm Pacific Standard Time and 7 pm Eastern Standard Time.
The ceremony will air live on ABC. Conan O’Brien will be hosting this year.
