The Better Sister is coming to Amazon Prime sooner than you think. It’s based on the Alafair Burke novel of the same name.

It stars Jessica Biel as Chloe and Elizabeth Banks as her sister Nicky, who no longer speak. However, it all changes under tragic and horrific circumstances.

We got our first look back in March when production shared some photos from the upcoming thriller online.

Is there a trailer?

No, a trailer hasn’t dropped for the show, which was confirmed back in May 2024.

The book series author wrote on X that she was “very excited” by the casting news.

What is it about?

The eight episodes tell the story of two sisters whose lives have drifted apart and are the reunited by the murder of one of their husbands. The top suspect is also another source of drama.

“I’m excited for people to see it unfold, who don’t know how the book ends, and all the twists and turns that are about to happen,” Banks told Glamour magazine. “I love a whodunit. And what’s fun about the series is that we’re all chess pieces getting moved around. Each episode sort of explores the level of control each person has at any given time.”
