Home Alone star Daniel Stern is best known for playing Marv in the original movie and the sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

He captured hearts playing one of the Wet Bandits alongside Joe Pesci’s Harry.

The 1990 festive flick also stars Macauley Culkin, Catherine O’Hara and John Heard.

However, Stern sacked off the bright lights of Hollywood for the quieter life on his farm in Ventura, California.

What has Home Alone star Daniel Stern said about his farm life?

“Hello, as you will come to discover, I live on a farm, and we grow tangerines here,” he said in a video posted to TikTok.

He continued, “I juice them up and then freeze them and give them away to my friends.”

What else does Daniel Stern do on his farm?

Along with his cows and his juicing, Stern also likes to explore his creative side. He has developed strong skills as an artist.

In another TikTok clip, he displayed a sculpture of a woman lying on a chair he had been toiling away on.

What else has Home Alone star Daniel Stern been up to?

In 2o24, Stern lent into his literary ambitions and brought out a memoir all about his Hollywood career, aptly titled Home and Alone.

In May, he told the Los Angeles Times that he “almost blew it a few times” when discussing his acting career.

One of these foolish choices almost lead him to not be cast as Marv, dubbing the move “the stupidest decision in my show business life.”

Apparently, he was in conflict with the producers over the terms of his contract. After walking away, the role was filled with another actor, but soon he was asked to come back.

The actor admitted that he loves participating in people’s annual Christmas celebrations.

Stern continued to the paper, “How many people in the world are stopped by perfect strangers who tell them, ‘I love you. My family loves you. You bring us joy. You are a part of our family holiday tradition,’ and all of the other wonderful things people say to me all the time?”
