This annual musical moment charts your most-binged tracks, artists and genres and provides users with a colourful representation of their annual listening tastes.
This data is usually dished up via a series of playful infographics which Spotify has made happily shareable, allowing users to post their listening habits far and wide – and post they do.
Meanwhile, artists, music makers, bands and artists also get their own set of data. This typically tells them how much listening time they’ve clocked up over the past 12 months and where their fans are located worldwide.

The information is gathered by the Spotify app, which usually ends its data harvest on 31 October. This means that the last two months of any given year aren’t typically included in your Spotify Wrapped round-up.
Thankfully, the streamer changed its rules this year.
On Halloween, Spotify sent a post on X that told users their app “doesn’t stop counting on October 31.” While they didn’t specify when they will stop counting, the Wrapped release window is creeping ever closer which may mean that they’ve gathered all the information they need for another year.

How to access your Spotify Wrapped 2024
Users will be happy to know that finding your 2024’s Spotify Wrapped couldn’t be easier. Usually, it pops up as soon as it’s ready whenever you open your Spotify app.
That said, if you somehow miss this pop-up or accidentally dismiss it, you can still find your own personalised Spotify Wrapped 2024 by clicking the ‘Home’ button on your Spotify app or by visiting the Spotify website.
Once you’ve got it, you’ll be able to export your Spotify Wrapped 2024 data and share it on places like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
When will Spotify Wrapped 2024 be ready?
Spotify hasn’t issued an official launch date for Spotify Wrapped 2024 but it could arrive any day now.
Following its debut in 2016, Spotify Wrapped has usually arrived in Winter but its arrival date has been edging closer and closer to late Autumn in recent years. Initially, it landed in December but in 2022 and 2023, Spotify Wrapped arrived as early as 30 November.
If the streamer follows this trend, Spotify Wrapped 2024 could land in your app within the next two weeks.
