It’s strange to imagine now, but there was once a time when Donald Trump was not a politician but a reality TV star.

Back in the day, Trump was hiring and firing potential business hopefuls on the long-running reality show. Each season, 16 contestants would compete in business-related challenges with the aim of winning $250,000 and a position in one of Trump’s companies.

Trump was part of the show between 2004 and 2015, when he left to run for President. Arnold Schwarzenegger led the final season.

Now, the show is returning to streaming in the United States. In the past, it was available to watch via Tubi, but it isn’t there anymore.

Where do I stream The Apprentice?

You’ll want to head to Amazon Prime Video if you want to see what Trump was like in businessman mode.

The first season of the show, which aired in 2004, is available to stream now. Further seasons will drop once a week on Mondays. There were seven seasons of the original show and eight celebrity seasons. It’ll keep you going for a while – over 200 episodes of the show aired.

“I look forward to watching this show myself — such great memories, and so much fun, but most importantly, it was a learning experience for all of us!” Trump said in a statement[as per Variety].

“‘The Apprentice’ is one of the best shows that I ever produced,” producer Mark Burnett said. “The charismatic onscreen presence of President Donald J. Trump made it a bona fide hit! Now, thanks to Prime Video, a whole new audience will experience a new season every Monday. This show is a love letter to New York City! ‘Survivor’ grew an entirely new massive audience as result of old seasons being binged during the pandemic. On Monday, March 10, this same phenomenon will begin again…with ‘The Apprentice.’”

Amazon’s other Trump projects

Amazon is bringing back the old seasons of The Apprentice, but it’s got another Trump related project in the works too.

It is exclusively licensing an upcoming documentary about First Lady Melania Trump. We can expect to see it later this year.
