New Direction and Leadership
Major leadership shifts are underway for the development of the biggest upcoming titles- PlayStation’s Wolverine and Xbox’s Perfect Dark. Stephen Totilo- Video game reporter at Game File reported that Brian Horton who used to work at Insomniac Games (the studio behind Wolverine) has left.
Brian is now working as a creative director with the Xbox for the Perfect Dark. These changes occurred during the summer months and an Xbox representative shared enthusiastic remarks regarding Brian’s addition to the team,
“ Horton will be “bringing his wealth of experience to the upcoming reboot of the classic Secret Agent series.” Meanwhile, further alterations in Insomniac Studio’s team also happened- Mike Daly and Marcus Smith- leader of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are now the game and creative directors of the upcoming game.
Moreover, Cameron Christian- Former Wolverine game director is given a new role- not specified yet, at the studio. The updates pertinent to both games are not frequent, Perfect Dark’s new look was shown at the Summer Showcase this year while fans got to hear about Wolverine in the last year- 2023.
So far, no official release dates have been shared for both games, fans are eagerly waiting for more updates, as both games are set to be major releases for their respective platforms.
