Fortnite is cooking another surprise—a collaboration with Devil May Cry is on the way, and the community is buzzing about this potential partnership.

Rumors Resurface with Growing Credibility

Players have been dreaming of this collab for so long, according to multiple leakers, that it could be closer than ever, fulfilling years of speculation and fan requests.

Hint relevant to it has been circulating since 2023, Nick Baker, co-founder of XboxEra, mentioned it for the first time. Afterward, the excitement went down, but renowned leakers like ShiinaBR, Loolo_WRLD, and Wensoing have reignited the buzz by corroborating the information. Wenso mentioned that:

“This was first mentioned by @Shpeshal_Nick in 2023, and since then, me and  @Loolo_WRLD have heard about it several times via our insiders!”

Speaking of Nick Baker, people have trust in him as he has been accurate about leaks, including Fortnite’s Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossovers, adding credibility to the current claims.

However, this is not the first time Fortnite is joining hands with Capcom; in the past, it has introduced characters from Resident Evil: Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, hinting that doing the same with Devil May Cry won’t take much longer now.

What Could the Collaboration Look Like?

Fans are wondering about its launch; if the leaks are accurate, the collaboration might launch after Chapter 6, Season 1. Historically, Fortnite is focused on picking the main and prominent characters to include in the crossover, making Devil May Cry legends like Dante and Vergil prime candidates.

The characters from The Devil May Cry seem to be a perfect fit for Fortnite’s universe. Also, the company opts for a balanced approach, providing both male and female options, ensuring fans that they will get diverse characters to grab from.

Fortnite fans have recently witnessed the collaboration with Cyberpunk 2077, introducing V and Johnny Silverhand which players could purchase, and the themed items were also available.

and now they are eagerly waiting for the next one. While the confirmation is yet to arrive, this partnership continues to spark the thrill among the gaming community.

In the previous year, the game did well and kept fans engaged with its creative ideas, and with 2025, the developer’s efforts are visibly increasing. The question persists: when Epic Games will make it official. Until then, fans can only speculate and keep their V-Bucks ready for this crossover.
