- A new trailer just dropped for Daredevil: Born Again

Marvel just released a trailer for Daredevil: Born Again and has already racked up over 1 million views. The show stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer who moonlights as a vigilante. This time, Murdock will continue his fight for justice while facing criminals, but with an added challenge—his secret identity is at risk of being exposed. The trailer hints at a bloody yet triumphant return for the fan-favorite badass.
The original Daredevil series premiered on Netflix in 2015. While it didn’t achieve the same level of popularity as some of Netflix’s other hits, it gained a resurgence in the Nielsen Top 20 three years after its cancellation, thanks to Hawkeye and Spider-Man cameos. In the series, Murdock balanced his dual life as a crime-fighter by night and a lawyer by day.
The new trailer offers a deeper look into Murdock’s new storyline, teasing the return of beloved characters. Additionally, Marvel Entertainment has confirmed the show will premiere on Disney+ on March 4.
With so much to unpack from the trailer, fans can’t help but wonder—what else is in store for Daredevil: Born Again?
When was Daredevil: Born Again announced?
Daredevil was canceled in 2018 and in March 2022, a revival of the show was announced. The show was confirmed for Disney+ later that year. The announcement was made at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con panel.
What is it about?
The show begins with Murdock reclaiming his identity as Daredevil. He gave it up after season two. After a series of failures, Murdock stopped fighting crime but returned to defeat Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin.
Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, was ultimately sent to prison, leaving Daredevil’s future seemingly hopeful by season’s end.
Between season three and the new series, Murdock abandoned his vigilante persona for unknown reasons.
In the trailer, Kingpin asks, “Why did you stop being a vigilante?” Murdock’s reply, “A line was crossed,” is chilling. However, the audience doesn’t know why he decided to give it up yet.
Born Again will explore this mystery while reintroducing fan-favorite characters and unveiling new ones. The series promises an intense continuation of Daredevil’s story, packed with drama and surprises for fans.
Who is in the Daredevil: Born Again cast?

Charlie Cox is of course reprising his role as Daredevil/Matt Murdock. Vincent D’Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Murdok’s enemy and prominent crime boss.
Also returning are Murdock’s co-workers at his law firm, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Deborah Ann Moll as Karen Page. In the trailer, we also saw the return of Frank Castle, the Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal who comes face-to-face with Murdoch once again and he doesn’t look happy!
Also set to make guest appearances are Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Murdoch’s love interest, The Many Saints of Newark’s Michael Gandolfini as new character Daniel Blade, and Wilson Bethel as FBI agent Benjamin ‘Dex’ Poindexter.
Those behind the series are Dario Scardapane, with Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead as directors, and Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd directing specific episodes.
The show has many executive producers: Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Scardapane, Chris Ord, Matt Corman, Benson, and Moorhead.
