- Millie Bobby Brown had a bizarre crossover with Owen Cooper
- Cooper played teenager Jamie Miller in psychological thriller Adolescence
- Cooper and Brown attended a recent Liverpool football game on 27 April

As if BJ Novak dating Delaney Rowe wasn’t the most random crossover, now we have Millie Bobby Brown and Owen Cooper. On 27 April, the Stranger Things star and the Adolescence actor attended a Liverpool football game against Tottenham Hotspur together.
The two were cheering for the Reds and came out on top, as Liverpool won 5-1 against Tottenham at their home stadium, Anfield.
The actors snapped a picture, which sent the internet into a frenzy because it was so random! Cooper, 15, shot to fame recently playing the leading role in Adolescence, a psychological thriller.
In the show, he plays Jamie Miller, a 12-year-old boy whose life turns upside down when he’s accused of murdering a girl from his school, Katie Leonard (Emilia Holiday).
Similarly, Brown, 21, shot to stardom playing Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things at age 12.

Millie Bobby Brown and Owen Cooper at Anfield
On Instagram, the official Liverpool Football Club page posted a photo of the two with the caption, “Millie Bobby Brown and Owen Cooper here to support the Reds ๐๐คณ”.
Predictably, the moment went viral on Instagram, and the post has over 1 million likes at the time of writing.
Cooper is from Warrington, near Liverpool, so he is naturally a supporter of the club. Brown, however, is from Marbella and grew up in Bournemouth in England. She has been a Liverpool supporter since she was a child, along with her family.
In a TikTok posted by the club, Brown and Cooper addressed their appreciation for the opportunity.
Today we are at Anfield. This is the coolest opportunity to be here. One, together and two for a really special day,” Brown said.
After Cooper took to the mic. “You know, it’s a massive day for me and everyone here, for all the fans. So yeah, it’s more than special,” Cooper said.
How did the internet react?
The internet was surprised, to say the least. Fans were divided, as those who love the football club were upset that celebrities were given free tickets. Meanwhile, others saw the picture of the two as an opportunity to create memes.
LFC fans loved the support
“Millie and Owen repping the best club! Letโs gooo!” said one excited LFC fan on X.

Imagine them playing siblings in a BBC drama. Casting directors, thank us later.
Eleven and Jamie as flight attendants?
Meanwhile, one post on X went viral, comparing Brown and Cooper’s outfits to flight attendants.
“Why do I feel like I’m being welcomed onto a Ryanair flight?”
Ryanair is the budget airline of the UK, so we aren’t sure if that’s a compliment…

“Whyโs she not in red?” asked one Liverpool fan.
Good question.
Regardless of public opinion, both stars have long been supporters of the club, and that’s all you can hope for at sporting events.
