Vanderpump Rules is officially coming back for its 12th season – but with a whole new cast, Bravo has confirmed.

New cast to join

After 11 seasons, Bravo is shaking up the show and will introduce a new generation of cast members. But they will be “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors,” according to a press release from Bravo.

However, Lisa Vanderpump will still be there, keeping a watchful eye on proceedings. “The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughere, tears and everything in between. I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.”

The action in the reality series will still be centred on SUR Restaurant and Lounge and TomTom Restaurant & Bar in West Hollywood, California.

It was also announced that there will be a retrospective special looking back over the previous 11 seasons. It will celebrate “the past decade of heartbreaks, friendship rifts and scandals”, according to the announcement.

Successful spinoff

Vanderpump Rules, which was the first spinoff show from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has been a consistent success since it first aired in 2013. It focused on the employees of the restaurant who look to build their futures in showbusiness, as well as their interpersonal relationships. There have been numerous cast changes over the years, but this season will be the first complete reboot.

Production on the new season of Vanderpump Rules will start in 2025. A release date for it will be announced closer to the time, as will details of the cast.
