Cardi B and Offset’s divorce is going about as well as you would imagine a high-profile celebrity uncoupling, unfolding in the public eye to go.
Now they’re taking their disputes to the livestreams.
Cardi took to Instagram Live last night (September 25) to air a litany of the grievances she has with the Migos rapper, who she filed for divorce from in July.
On the stream, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star claimed Offset had threatened to take away gifts because she was “moving on” from their marriage.
“You know what I find so crazy? That a n***a thinks that they can just buy a bitch. I love me s**t, but you can’t buy me no more, motherf**ker. It’s so crazy that a n***a thinks that that’s enough. It’s not enough, honey,” the Grammy winner said.
“I find it funny that n***as think that they can f**k on anything, but when I start talking to n***as, you want to threaten me with taking s**t that I f**king worked my ass off for. You want to play those games with me? We gon’ play them games too.”
It didn’t take long for Offset to fire back, hopping onto the stream and leaving the comment “U f**ked with a baby inside tell the truth!!” insinuating that his ex-wife slept with somebody else while she was pregnant.
It was an accusation that Cardi didn’t seem to mind, seemingly confirming Offset’s comment by replying “AND DID!!!!!”
The 31-year-old rapper originally filed for divorce from Offset in 2020, before the couple reconciled amid reports of infidelity on his part. A source told Page Six, however, that the couple had simply drifted apart, “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”
Cardi is seeking primary custody of the couple’s three children.
