There have been questions over the state of US politics in recent times – and things must be bad if 11% of voters in a poll believe the Pubity admin should run for office.

Run for office

In a snap poll held via Pubity’s Instagram page after the televised debate between Democrat President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Donald Trump last night, 11% of voters said that the Pubity admin should run for office.

This protest shows how Americans are feeling about the choice of candidates when even a humble Instagram page admin could be considered a more preferable option to the two candidates on show.

The Pubity admin was not immediately available for comment on this news – presumably too busy Googling ‘how to run for president’.

Debate response

In more bad news for Joe Biden, just 6% of the voters in Pubity’s poll thought that he won the debate, compared to 61% who said Trump won out. Although 22% thought that neither side won.

The debate, according to many commentators, did not go Biden’s way. Some of his answers were rambling and at some points he seemed to struggle to complete his sentences. Biden’s team have claimed his performance, as well as noticeably raspy voice, was down to the President having a cold.
