Michael Bay & Skibidi Toilet

Skibidi Toilet,” the controversial animated internet sensation, is being developed for TV and film by director Michael Bay and former Paramount Pictures president Adam Goodman. On the “Strictly Business” podcast, Goodman mentioned that discussions are ongoing for both television and film adaptations.

Created by Alexey Gerasimov, “Skibidi Toilet” began with an 11-second video and evolved into a series of mini-epics, portraying a war between Toilets and Cyborgs. These videos’ explosive, dialogue-free nature has captivated a global audience, becoming a cultural icon for Generation Alpha. Goodman and Bay, now running Invisible Narratives, see potential in Skibidi akin to major franchises like “Transformers” or the Marvel universe.

Goodman revealed that Bay and his team are working closely with Gerasimov to professionalize the content for potential film and TV adaptations. They envision a hybrid animated/live-action version similar in style to “John Wick” and “District 9.”
