Spotify Wrapped 2024 is yet to materialise and as each day passes and the wait grows longer, music fans are growing increasingly dismayed at its delay.
This popular music round-up gathers key data about its users’ listening habits and shares them via a series of fun infographics.
These typically let fans know what their most listened-to tracks, artists and genres were over the last 12 months. They’re colourful and easy to share across social media, with many Spotify users posting them on platforms like X, Facebook and TikTok.

However, Wrapped 2024 isn’t even here yet and it’s already making users pull out their hair in frustration. The reason? Well, it’s absence.
Despite dropping a fair few hints and urging users to ensure their app is up-to-date, Spotify has yet to release this year’s edition of Wrapped. What’s more, the delay is making users mad – especially after competing round-ups like Apple Music Replay were released.

“WHERE IS SPOTIFY WRAPPED” asked one user in all caps, sharing a gif of a house exploding.
Meanwhile, another posted simply “#SpotifyWrapped” with a gif of Judge Judy tapping her watch expectedly.

When is Spotify Wrapped released?
Unfortunately, we don’t know for sure when Wrapped 2024 will be released – but it could be any day now.
In fact, many users believe it will land on Wednesday 4 December but this hasn’t been confirmed by the streamer.
This date was predicted thanks to app’s tendency to publish Wrapped round-ups on Wednesdays. 2022’s edition landed on Wednesday 30 November, while 2021’s arrived on Wednesday 1 December. Meanwhile, 2023’s Wrapped was made available on Thursday 30 November.
Wrapped usually arrives around Thanksgiving and with that holiday now in the rear-view mirror, many have naturally assumed that the next Wednesday will be the date Wrapped lands.
Either way, this extended delay marks the longest time that users have had to wait for their Wrapped in recent years.
How to get prepared for Spotify Wrapped 2024
While we patiently wait for Wrapped to arrive, there are a few things we can do to make sure we get the best experience possible. Firstly, the streamer suggests making sure your app is up to date.
As detailed in a blog post, the company explained that “one of the keys to getting the best Wrapped experience is making sure your Spotify app is up-to-date. If your phone isn’t set to automatically update the app and you haven’t manually updated it in a while, you may be missing out on some pretty great features.”

In addition to updating your app, users can also tweak their volume settings to suit their surroundings and secure the most optimised listening experience.
