Spotify Wrapped 2024 could arrive any day now and the app has started to issue some handy advice to help ensure your annual music round-up is as up-to-date as it can be.
The streaming giant posted an article to its newsroom website on Wednesday 27 November. The piece asked users “Are you Wrapped-ready?” and offered some key tips to guarantee you get the most out of this much-loved musical moment.
According to Spotify, making sure your app is up-to-date is a key factor in accessing all of your Wrapped 2024 features, including some new ones.

“One of the keys to getting the best Wrapped experience is making sure your Spotify app is up-to-date,” explained the streamer. “If your phone isn’t set to automatically update the app and you haven’t manually updated it in a while, you may be missing out on some pretty great features.
Spotify continued, explaining that “An up-to-date app means you’re getting a fully optimized Wrapped experience. When the time comes for the big reveal of your personalized 2024 listening trends, you want to be ready.
“You’ll also be able to easily share your unique finds or fun tidbits from your yearlong listening with friends on social media.”
It also explained that an up-to-date app is the best way to help you share your Wrapped 2024 data infographics on to other social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

To help make getting Wrapped-ready extra easy, the streamer provided a quick guide on how to update your Spotify app. The steps couldn’t be simpler too.

- Visit the Apple App Store if you have an iPhone or the Google Play Store if you have an Android.
- Search and find your Spotify app.
- Once it appears, you will see whether you have the latest version or the option to hit the “Update” button.
- Hit “Update” and you’re all set.

When is Spotify Wrapped 2024 released?
It could literally arrive any day now. Since debuting in 2016, Wrapped traditionally landed in early December although it has slowly crept into late November over the past few years.

2023’s edition came out on 29 November while 2022’s landed on 30 November. With this release model in mind, Spotify Wrapped 2024 could be ready to arrive imminently.
