Sydney Sweeney is one of the most in-demand faces at the moment.

Raised in Washington state’s Spokane, Sweeney began her career as a child star. She managed to snag guest spots on iconic television shows like Lost, 90210 and Grey’s Anatomy. Now, she has made a name for herself as a star to be reckoned with.

Of course, with her all-American good looks and endless well of talent, there is much speculation about her personal life. Also, Sweeney was the victim of horrible abuse after bikini pictures circulated online.

Well, what about her ample acting talent?

Let’s take a look at some of her most memorable performances so far…

Sydney Sweeney’s best roles so far

Everything Sucks!

This 2018 Netflix teen series was one of Sweeney’s big breaks. Playing Emaline took her from guest spots to leading lady material.

The Handmaid’s Tale

That same year, Sweeney was introduced to more mature audiences. The gig was portraying the younger version of Eden for seven episodes in the second season of the Margaret Attwood novel The Handmaid’s Tale.

Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

Sweeney ticked something off many a Hollywood bucket list when she was cast in a Quentin Tarantino movie. The star brought to life hippie chick Snake in this love letter to Hollywood, movies and Sharon Tate.

Reality

In 2023, Sweeney proved her dramatic chops again when she played the real-life ex-US intelligence whistle-blower Reality Winner in this HBO movie.

Immaculate

This 2024 horror film saw Sweeney show off her habit of wowing the critics when she played Sister Cecilia, a nun who becomes impregnated by a demonic being.

The White Lotus

In 2021, Sweeney flexed her dark comedy side by playing bratty college student Olivia Mossbacher in the first instalment of the Mike White-create satire of wealthy people on holiday.

Sharp Objects

2018 was really Sweeney’s year as she also played Amy Adams’ daughter in this HBO miniseries based on Gillian Flynn’s novel of the same name.

Madame Web

This 2024 box office bomb, where Sweeney played high schooler Julia, was memorable for all the wrong reasons – but it was a pop cultural highlight none the less.

Anyone But You

This 2023 rom-com proved that she could do it all after her string of more dramatic roles. Sweeney, who is engaged to Jonathan Davino, may have regretted her decision to play Beatrice opposite Glen Powell’s Ben as it sparked a lot of affair rumours

Euphoria

This Sam Levinson-created HBO teen drama got everyone talking, and Sweeney’s Cassie stands out among a truly impressive cast of Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demi, and many more.
