The Met Gala 2025 proved once again that the annual event is always going to be a safe bet for memelords on social media.

This year’s event ran with the theme of ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’, which ties in with The Met’s spring exhibition, celebrating the history of Black fashion and dandyism.

Social media being what it is, regardless of how hard the fits went at the Met Gala, there was always going to be an abundance of snark on the world wide web, which is exactly what the users of X provided us with on Monday night.
