- IShowSpeed entered the Royal Rumble briefly, but memorably
- Video of Speed getting speared by Bron Breakker has been viewed over 300m times
- YouTuber had been streaming backstage at the event before entering the match

IShowSpeed may have become the most memorable Royal Rumble entrant of all time. And he was only in the match for about two minutes.
The YouTuber had been streaming from WWE’s Royal Rumble event at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis when he was surprisingly inserted into the main event after Akira Tozawa was injured. And he certainly made the most of his few seconds inside the squared circle.
Or, more accurately, one of is opponents made the most of Speed’s few seconds in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Speed had initially helped Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker – son and nephew of Hall of Famers Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner respectively – with an elimination and celebrated with a backflip as a result.

However, it soon became apparent that Breakker was no IShowSpeed fan. The IC champion bounced off the ropes and almost speared Speed into next January. The shot was that barbaric looking, with Speed resembling a crash test dummy as Breakker crashed through him like a freight train, that it rapidly went viral across WWE’s social media platforms.
In fact, in under 24 hours, the video in its various cuts amassed over THREE HUNDRED MILLION VIEWS, making it WWE’s most viewed Royal Rumble video of all time.
Speed had been invited to the Rumble by WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque and had been tasked with livestreaming before the show from the various backstage areas. Given the overwhelming success and attention his appearance this past weekend drew, it feels like a natural fit that the streamer would be rewarded with a WrestleMania opportunity in a few months time, also.
Ahead of the Rumble, Speed had already been called out by Kai Cenat, so there may yet be a face off between the pair, with Speed a close friend of former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul. The 20-year-old memorably took an RKO on the announce table from Randy Orton at last year’s WrestleMania during Paul’s title defence against Orton and Kevin Owens. Don’t be surprised to see him breaking more records in Las Vegas, this April.
