Andor followed Diego Luna’s eponymous hero and chronicles his journey from space thief to rebel spy hero.
Created by The Bourne Identity screenwriter Tony Gilroy, it was first released in 2022 and has become one of the most critically-praised Star Wars spin-off series.
When is Andor season 2 released?

Andor season 2 will be released on 23 April 2025, airing exclusively on Disney+. Sorry YouTube fans, you won’t find what you’re looking for there.
The series will continue Cassian’s journey and conclude his story. It’ll also lead viewers up to the point where we first met the character in Gareth Edwards’ Star Wars prequel Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
According to the show’s official synopsis, season two “takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.”
In addition to Luna, season 2 will also feature appearances from Stellan Skarsgård, Alan Tudyk, Genevieve O’Reilly, Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker. Meanwhile, Gilroy returns to pen much of the series.
How many episodes will season 2 have?

Season 2 will consist of 12 episodes. The first will debut on 23 April, with new instalments dropping weekly.
Interestingly, the show’s second season will be divided into four chapters, each of which contain three episodes. For comparison, season 1 also featured 12 episodes.
Despite the show being just a few weeks away, little is known for sure about the plot. In fact, we don’t even know what its episode titles will be, with plenty of details ready and waiting to be discovered when the show officially starts airing.
