Acting icon Nicole Kidman is set to star in a controversial new movie. In Babygirl, she plays a powerful CEO who engages in a steamy love affair with a much younger work colleague.
Directed by Halina Reijn, the film sees the 57-year-old actress share a number of intimate scenes with 28-year-old actor Harris Dickinson and during a recent interview, Kidman revealed the whole process was quite intense.
“I read the script and I thought it was so funny," Kidman told The Sun, “but I also was turned on by it. I was also sort of hypnotised.”
That said, filming was reportedly so heated, it pushed the star to her limits: “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this."
“I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life!" the star continued, recalling he experience. “I’m over it. It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout."
Fans won't have to wait long to see what Kidman's talking about. Babygirl is released in US cinemas on 25 December 2025.
