IShowSpeed has become world famous thanks to his exploits on his YouTube channel – including incredible stunts and live streams – and this has helped to make him a millionaire.

IShowSpeed’s net worth

IShowSpeed was named as Streamer of the Year – one of three awards he won at the Streamer Awards 2024 earlier this month. In addition to Streamer of the Year, IShowSpeed was named as Best International Streamer and won the Get Off Your A** Award, which recognizes the best IRL streamers.

The American, who’s real name is Jason Watkins Jr, has built up a net worth of $10 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He has built this wealth up thanks to his streaming activities, but also through sponsorship and endorsement deals, such as with Rumble, where he co-hosts live streams with fellow creator Kai Cenat.

Career building

IShowSpeed, who is still only 19, first began uploading gameplay videos in 2016, but it wasn’t until the COVID pandemic in 2020 that his career started to take off. Initially he focused on gaming videos, usually NBA 2K20 and 2k21, before expanding into Fortnite and Five Nights at Freddy’s. In June 2021, he hit the 1 million subscribers milestone on YouTube. In 2021, he is also said to have made his first $1 million.

He also moved onto TikTok, where some of his streams went viral, boosting his burgeoning popularity.

Since then, he has become known for videos involving a range of stunts, including Parkour and sporting feats – such as running against US Olympic sprinters. Indeed, IShowSpeed has expressed his ambition to quality for the US Olympic track sprint team for the 2028 Olympic Games, which will be held in Los Angeles.

At the time of writing, IShowSpeed has 32 million subscribers on YouTube, 6.2 million followers on TikTok and 2.4 million followers on Instagram.
