Spotify Wrapped has been and gone for 2024, but film fans can soon look at their viewing habits at a glance with Letterboxd’s own version of the year end trend.
Users can see the number of movies they logged, how many hours of entertainment they watched and their most-watched actor and director of the past 12 months.
To accompany users’ personalised Wrapped experience, Letterboxd has also revealed the most popular films on its platform from 2024.
How to access Letterboxd Wrapped 2024
Letterboxd users should keep an eye on their inbox (and spam folder) as they’ll soon receive their round-up via an email.
In order to get the Wrapped email, users must have logged at least 10 films and also must have opted-in to receive the Call Sheet newsletters via email. You can check it under the “general” tab under account settings and turn on the third toggle.

Who are Letterboxd’s top film and actors of 2024?
Letterboxd also compiled its own Wrapped, publishing a list of the top-watched actors and highest-rated films of 2024, as determined by its 17 million users.
Zendaya topped the rankings of the most popular female actor for the second year running. She’s had a very successful year, having starred in the acclaimed Dune: Part 2 and Challengers.
Dune: Part 2 was the top-rated movie of 2024 with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars, while director Denis Villeneuve was the most-watched director on the platform. The sci-fi sequel was also the most popular and most rewatched film of 2024.
Villeneuve was very happy about this news. “I’m gonna sleep well tonight,” he said in response, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “The idea that there’s a community, the Letterboxd community of film lovers, cinephiles, that are sharing film lists and their love and their passion, it brings me hope for the future of cinema.
“Frankly what I love about that is it’s coming from people who don’t give a s*** about me,” he added. They’re just talking about the movie, you know? Thank you everybody. It goes straight to my heart.”
Meanwhile, the most watched actor was Willem Dafoe. He starred in four major films last year – Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Saturday Night, Kinds of Kindness and Nosferatu.
