The legendary video game Elden Ring is the latest to be brought to the big screen – and there is a great ensemble cast being assembled for it.

Elden Ring has been beloved for gamers since its release in 2022, with its epic scope and storylines, so it is perhaps no surprise that it is getting the live-action big screen treatment.
Elden Ring is an action-oriented dark fantasy RPG, set in the hostile ‘Lands Between’, where the player’s character is resurrected from the dead and then must travel the lands and reassemble the Elden Ring.
On April 20, A24 and Bandai Namco, which owns and publishes Elden Ring, announced the date the movie will hit screens – March 3, 2028 – as well as an extensive cast list, which is one of the best assembled for a video game movie.
Alex Garland – best known for writing the 28 Days Later series of movies, as well as writing and directing films such as Ex Machina – is on board as writer and director.
But while we have a cast list, we don’t know which characters they will be playing and, as yet, we don’t have detailed plotlines for the movie, but these will come in time.
