Riveting Witcher 4 leaks have been surfacing online- anticipating that the new game series will be released by 2025.

A New Series Begins

The game, codenamed Project Polaris, has been quietly progressing behind the scenes. On October 4, 2022, CD Projekt RED in X post mentioned,

“Polaris is a codename for the next installment in the Witcher series of games, which we recently announced was in pre-production. It is the beginning of a new saga: we aim to release two more Witcher games after Polaris, creating a new AA RPG trilogy”

Furthermore, thanks to Jake Lampert’s resume– a British actor whose online profile revealed his role-playing as a character named Bronko in the upcoming Witcher 4.

The r/witcher posted a Reddit video in which Doug Cockle- Geralt’s voice actor confirmed that Geralt will appear in Witcher 4 not as a main character but his role is still unknown. He said,

“I can’t say anything about it. What we know is that Geralt will be part of the game, we just don’t know how much and the game won’t focus on Geralt, so it’s not about him this time.”

2025 Release and Development Progress

The resume further hinted at the launch date, probably the next year. What makes his leak more compelling is that it aligns with the placeholder page recently spotted on GOG, further fueling speculations among fans.

The placeholder displayed an image with the statement written under it, “The long-awaited next installment in the Witcher franchise”, it also mentioned the other details along with the release date- December 31, 2025.

CDPR also mentioned back in 2022 that The Witcher 4 wouldn’t be ready for at least three more years, so if the game comes out in 2025, it fits with the originally set timeline.

All these leaks and announcements are connecting like dots and as per GameRant Nearly half of CD Projekt Red’s 1,200 employees have been dedicated to Project Polaris since late 2023, clearly indicating that the game is in development and the progress is going smoothly so far.

Now fans are waiting to hear the official news- when it will be available so they begin new enchanting journey.
