WWE debuts on Netflix in two weeks time and the card for the history making night is taking shape.

Emanating from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, Monday Night Raw on January 6 will mark the show’s first departure from traditional television outlets and will instead air live on Netflix every week. Not only that, but in WWE’s international markets outside of the United States, SmackDown, NXT and Premium Live Events (WWE speak for Pay Per Views) will also air on the streaming service.

Not only this, but selected archived programming and historic Premium Live Events (PLE’s) will also make their way to Netflix outside of America, where they will still be available on Peacock until 2026.

But what else do we know about WWE’s debut on Netflix? Well, in the past week, several matches for the streaming premiere of the 31-year-old sports entertainment juggernaut have been confirmed.

What Matches Will Be Taking Place On WWE’s Netflix Debut?

CM Punk and Seth Rollins will bring their longstanding rivalry to a head by main eventing the first ever Monday Night Raw on Netflix. It is believed the pair would have originally squared off for Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 earlier this year, however Punk’s tricep injury saw the Straight Edge Superstar providing commentary for Rollins’ loss to Drew McIntyre, instead. While there will be no title on the line on January 6, the animosity, both on and off screen, between the pair, should guarantee an unforgettable bout.

Elsewhere on the card, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley will bring their almost year-long rivalry to an end with a third clash over Morgan’s Women’s World Title in a Last Woman Standing match. Morgan retained thanks to help from Ripley’s one-time beau Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam and then again due to the returning Raquel Rodriguez at Bad Blood, in October. This final bout between the former friends will only end when one woman cannot reach their feet before the count of 10.

The third match to be confirmed is Roman Reigns and his cousin Solo Sikoa doing battle in a ‘Tribal Combat’ match, which is set to determine who is really the ‘Tribal Chief’ of the Bloodline. Reigns had led the original Bloodline until his WWE Title loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, in April. Sikoa then took up the mantle in Reigns’ absence post-Mania, bringing in Tama and Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu to evolve the group into the New Bloodline.

Reigns would return to cost Sikoa his chance at winning the WWE Title at SummerSlam, eventually reforming the original group with his cousins The Usos (Sikoa’s older brothers) and ‘honorary Uce’ Sami Zayn. The original Bloodline would reign supreme at Wargames in November at Survivor Series, but the title of ‘Tribal Chief’ still hangs in the balance and will be decided in ‘Tribal Combat’ in LA on January 6.

Reigns and Sikoa aren’t the only Bloodliners in action, however, with Jey Uso squaring off against the recently returned Drew McIntyre.

Are There Going To Be Any Special Guest Appearances?

John Cena is confirmed for the show. 2025 marks Cena’s final year as an in-ring performer, with the next 12 months serving as the 16-time World Champion’s retirement tour. Cena is also confirmed for the Royal Rumble in Indianapolis in February and Elimination Chamber in Toronto in March.

Although not confirmed by WWE at the time of writing, The Rock took to social media to confirm his appearance on the show. The last time The People’s Champion was on WWE television, he was appearing at the culmination of the Bad Blood PLE to confront Cody Rhodes and his cousin Roman Reigns from the entrance way. It was initially believed that this was done to hint at a match with one or both of Rhodes and Reigns, having feuded alongside Reigns with Rhodes through WrestleMania season, this year. The Rock pinned Rhodes in the main event of night one of WrestleMania, but was unable to help keep the WWE Title on his younger cousin on night two, with Rhodes pinning The Tribal Chief to end his almost four-year-long run with the belt.

Travis Scott, who will provide the new theme music for Monday Night Raw, is also expected to be in attendance, having been invited by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque at ComplexCon, in November.

At a recent event at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut to promote the move to Netflix, it was confirmed that YouTuber and social media influencer Logan Paul will officially be part of the Raw roster, meaning an appearance by the former United States Champion is highly likely in LA on January 6, also.

What Time Will WWE Monday Night Raw Air On Netflix?

Raw will air at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific every Monday night. In the UK this means a start time of 1am every Tuesday morning.
