Fresh off a record breaking WrestleMania 41, WWE announced over a monumental, money spinning weekend in Las Vegas that their first original docuseries on Netflix is on its way – WWE: Unreal.

The series, which will go inside the writer’s room headed up by Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, is set to debut this summer and was heavily hyped throughout WrestleMania weekend.

Levesque, who was inducted into the company’s Hall of Fame on Friday night (April 18) will feature heavily in WWE: Unreal, as he heads up the creative teams who are responsible for crafting the script and storylines that play out on WWE’s weekly shows Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, as well as their monthly Premium Live Events (pay-per-views).

In the trailer, Levesque says, “This is a calculated, coordinated production. It’s time. We’re gonna lift the curtain.”

So, with the official announcement and first teaser trailer to hand, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming series.

What is WWE: Unreal About?

The official logline released by Netflix regarding the series reads, “For the first time ever, step into the WWE writer’s room and outside the ring with your favorite WWE Superstars, where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight.”

Where Will WWE: Unreal Air?

The series will stream on Netflix. It will form part of the $5 billion deal the two companies signed at the beginning of 2024. The deal sees Monday Night Raw air live every week on the streaming platform, with WWE’s other shows such as SmackDown and NXT and their Premium Live Events also streaming in territories outside the United States.

When Will the Series Debut?

WWE: Unreal will premiere this summer. No official release date has been revealed at the time of writing.

How Many Episodes Will There be?

There will be 10 episodes of WWE: Unreal. Each episode is believed to be roughly 50 minutes in length.
