The marketing campaign for the Deadpool and Wolverine movie is ramping up and, after the popcorn bucket, we now have the special Xbox controller.

Deadpool designed

Yes, Deadpool himself has – apparently – had a hand (or possibly something else) in designing the controller, according to Xbox, anyway. As well as being in Deadpool’s trademark red and black suit, the controller also has a cheeky design on the back, apparently modelled on Wade Wilson’s own perfectly rounded tush.

A thing of beauty undoubtedly, but if you want to get your hands on the controller, then you will have to hope your luck is in: the controller is available to one lucky winner of a global sweepstake. Fans aged 18 and over can enter by following Xbox on X (formerly Twitter) and reposting the official Xbox sweepstakes post. The winner will receive the Cheeky Controller, as well as other custom Xbox hardware such as a Deadpool-inspired Xbox Series X and a stand featuring foam versions of Deadpool’s legendary katanas, Bea and Arthur.

Another chance to win

But fans have another chance to pick up some limited edition Deadpool merch – on July 22, the first 1,000 people to purchase an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core from the Microsoft store will receive a Cable Guys Deadpool Controller Holder by EXG Pro. But this offer is only open to those in North America and Canada.

Ryan Reynolds has also recently revealed exclusively to Pubity that Hugh Jackman sent him and Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy a 17-minute voicenote before the film, making his pitch for the role and hints for the plot.

Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26.
