Wake up, it’s Met Day! Yes, the 2025 Met Gala is almost here, and people wonder who will attend. Aside from organizer Anna Wintour and the co-chairs, there are lots of celebrities who will be in attendance.
However, as a top-secret event, Wintour always keeps the details under wraps. Sometimes a leaked guest list is released, but you can never predict who may show up surprisingly.
The theme is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, and the dress code is “tailored for you”. This may give clues as to who will attend, along with some Met Gala regulars. On the committee for this year’s event are Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and LeBron James.

If the co-chairs are anything to go by, we will likely see many musicians, sports stars, and filmmakers at this year’s event, especially from the black community. With that being said, let’s jump into some of the predictions.
The 2025 Met Gala: Who could be there?
1. Rihanna
Singer Rihanna, 37, is a regular attendee of the Met Gala. However, last year she missed the ceremony, reportedly due to illness. Nevertheless, we have a feeling this year the Diamonds singer is coming back in full force.
Firstly, Rihanna is a fashion icon and has always been outlandish with her choices. She began attending the event in 2007, fresh from the success of her album Good Girl Gone Bad.
This year, the 37-year-old is more likely to attend, as her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, is on the committee. Rocky and Rihanna share two children and have been together since 2020. They attended the 2021 and 2023 Met Gala as a couple.

2. Cynthia Erivo
Although new to mainstream fame, Cynthia Erivo, 38, has made her mark with her role as Elphaba in Wicked. Therefore, her attending the 2025 Met Gala again this year would not be shocking. However, there is some evidence for this one.
Designer Marc Jacobs teased who he’d be dressing for the event in a series of shadowed images. Many fans thought the person on the far right was a shadow of Erivo, given the bald-looking head.

There is no doubt that it looks like Erivo. If only the shadow had extra-long nails, then we’d be able to see!
3. Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet
Now, this is not about a specific person, but rather a couple. One of our predictions for this year’s Met Gala is Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet walking the carpet together. The Met Gala is an event where many couples have made their red carpet debut.
Think Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid.
While Jenner, 27, and Chalamet, 29, have been together for around two years, they have been getting more public recently. The Jenners and Kardashians are longtime attendees of the event, while Chalamet is not. However, with the PDA these two have been doing recently at award shows, we would not be shocked if they walked together in a coordinated look.
3. Zendaya
Again, like the Kardashians, Zendaya, 28, is a regular showstopper at the Met Gala, so we think she will attend. Despite being busy filming Euphoria, it seems like Zendaya is back in the USA after filming The Oddssey.
While she may be too busy to attend, we think that since she was co-chair last year, she wouldn’t dare skip out on this year’s ceremony. Every year, she is always on the best-dressed lists.
How can it be a Met Monday without her? Zendaya’s legendary stylist, Law Roach, reportedly confirmed he and Z will walk up the steps together.
4. Blake Lively
A controversial one, but very predictable nonetheless. Lively, 37, is currently in a messy legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star. However, she has been out and about and on talk shows promoting her new movie, Another Simple Favor.
Because of that, we think she may attend the Met Gala despite not showing up last year. If she does, it will be a very brave move. However, her attending the Met always gives her amazing press for her fashion, and it may be a PR tactic to distract people from the ongoing lawsuit.
However, some reports have said Lively will sit this one out, I guess we will have to see!
5. Doechii
American rapper Doechii, 26, made waves this year with her viral songs. Her songs Anxiety and Alligator Bites Never Heal went viral on TikTok, despite not being new. Her newfound fame as a young black artist corresponds well with this year’s theme, and also, since she has a slightly out-there style, Doechii will fit into the Met mix perfectly.
With her newfound notoriety, she is likely invited to the Met and will also be in attendance. To conclude, Doechii is part of the host committee, so how could she not attend the 2025 Met Gala?
6. Sebastian Stan
Although he is not a fashion boy, Sebastian Stan, 42, could attend this year’s ceremony. Despite being busy with Thunderbolts, his attending the Met would be a great way to promote the movie, which is released on 1 May. Furthermore, he attended last year’s ceremony and in 2022.
We are trying to forget his hideous pink outfit, but you can’t escape hot pink.
He would make a nice addition to the night, though!
7. The Kardashians and Jenners (minus Khloe and Kourtney)
Whether you love them or hate them, the Kardashians make a splash every time they attend the Met. Both of the Jenner sisters also become frequent talking points, and we don’t think this year is an exception. Whether the youngest Jenner sister will attend with her movie star boyfriend, we don’t know, but we think we will see Kim, Kris, Kendall, and Kylie all on the carpet individually.
Famously, Kim has never missed a Met Gala since her first attendance in 2013. As for Khloe and Kourtney, these two have not attended the Met Gala in a few years, so they may not show up again.
8. Christiano Ronaldo
Aside from the committee members, Cristiano Ronaldo, 40, attending the Met Gala with long-term girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, 31, seems likely. Rumors say that the footballer and his model girlfriend are staying at an exclusive New York hotel ahead of the event with many other A-listers.
Therefore, it seems likely that they are getting ready for one of the biggest nights in fashion. People have said Rodriguez was spotted in New York ahead of the festivities. We will have to see, but it doesn’t seem unlikely!
