The latter three found similar success at the Oscars just a month later. However, Emilia Pérez suffered from resurfaced social media posts issued by its star Karla Sofia Gascón. Despite this, its star Zoe Saldana still managed to take home the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Get the answers for each below.
When is the 2026 Golden Globes?

The 2026 Golden Globes will take place in January 2026 although an exact date has yet to be finalised.
This year’s event was held early into the New Year, taking place on 5 January. The year before that, it was held on 7 January 2024 with 2023’s ceremony happening on 10 January.
With these dates in mind, it’s likely that the 2026 event will take place somewhere between 5 and 10 January next year. Check back soon though. As soon as we have any concrete details, you’ll find them here.
How can you watch?
The 83rd Golden Globes Ceremony will air on CBS in the United States.
Similar to the event’s air date, an exact air time has yet to be confirmed by organisers. However, last year’s event began at 5pm PT and 8pm PT. This means that viewers in the UK were able to tune in at 1am GMT.
While unconfirmed, it’s possible that next year’s show could follow this same schedule.
Paramount+ subscribers can also watch the show on-demand. The streamer provided a similar service for 2025’s event – but only for users who didn’t have an ad-supported account.
The full ceremony eventually landed on the platform a day after it aired live. Again, it’s possible that the same format could be used for next year’s event.
Who is hosting the 2026 Golden Globes?

Comedian Nikki Glazer will return to host after a successful stint fronting the event in 2025. The news was confirmed in March 2025.
Speaking about her return, Glaser said “hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career.”
“I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from ‘The White Lotus’ who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in Season 4 as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.”
The feeling was mutual, with ceremony president Helen Hoehne saying the comic brought “sharp humour” to the job.
“Nikki Glaser brought a refreshing spark and fearless wit to the Golden Globes stage this year,” said Hoehne in a statement.
“Her sharp humor and bold presence set the tone for an unforgettable night, making the ceremony feel vibrant and most of all fun.”
