- Hazard, a muscular Scottish tank, brings crystal-wielding powers to Overwatch 2.
- His abilities include crystal spikes, a blade arm, and massive battlefield structures.
- Hazard’s aggressive playstyle is set to shake up Season 14.

Blizzard Entertainment has lifted curtains from their newest tank hero— Hazard, who will officially join the game in December during season 14.
New Astonishing Addition
The wait might seem long but the good part is, that a special playtest event running in November, will give fans an early hands-on experience with this punk-inspired, crystal-wielding powerhouse. Overwatch Cavalry shared on X news:
“The limited-time hero trial kicks off Friday, November 22, and runs through November 25! What abilities are you hoping to see this Tank hero have in-game?”
Hazard, a muscular Scottish brawler with a rebellious attitude, belongs to a gang known as the Phreaks. While Blizzard has not revealed many details, the trailer has shown some glimpses to fans: crystal spikes fired from his back, a blade forged from his arm, and massive crystal structures that dominate the battlefield.
Players didn’t get to hear much about Hazard except during last year’s BlizzCon and more recently in Season 13’s trailer. This will be the Overwatch 2’s 13th tank hero and players are eagerly waiting to witness the character’s aggressive and spiky playstyle.
Ongoing Fun and Controversies
Meanwhile, players are hooked up with the classic mode— released recently, they are surely getting amused through the nostalgic ride and recreating the golden memories.
This features 6v6 battles, old maps like Hanamura, and the return of classic hero abilities. Although this mode has stirred up excitement, the no-hero limit feature has been criticized badly.
Fans out of frustration complained that this had ruined the gameplay by inducing imbalance among teams and it became entirely impossible to beat down certain team combinations.
As Hazard gears up for his grand entrance, Overwatch 2 players have plenty to keep them entertained, from chaotic throwbacks to thrilling new additions.
