However, since her breakout role, the 22-year-old has enjoyed a successful acting career, playing a recurring role as Ellie Alves in You Season 2 as well as joining the Scream franchise as Tara Carpenter in two movies.
She is set to have a big 2025 as well, reprising her role as Wednesday Addams in Netflix’s Wednesday – but there is reportedly a long wait for season 2.
According to Deadline, Ortega will star in The Weeknd’s film debut, Hurry Up Tomorrow, alongside Carpenter’s recent ex, Barry Keoghan. Considering his TV show The Idol had household names attached to it – like Lily Rose-Depp – we suspect Ortega’s net worth will increase thanks to this role.

In addition to acting in The Weeknd’s new project, Ortega will also be an executive producer. On Wednesday season 2, she will also be a producer, so we can imagine she’ll collect some cash there.
While there are no figures to say how much Ortega earns as an executive producer, rumours indicated that for Wednesday season 1 she earned between $30,000-50,000.
We expect that her cameo in Carpenter’s viral Taste music video may have earned her some big bucks, though. Taste went viral in August before the release of Sabrina Carpenter’s Short ‘n’ Sweet album.
The music video featured Carpenter and Ortega fighting violently over a random boy. The song reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100, not a bad effort for a song where the girls murder each other.
