CODMAS 2024 is here to make the holiday season more memorable for the Black Ops 6 players, bringing snowy maps, fun game modes, and festive chaos.
Holiday Maps and Snowball Fights Await
Call of Duty shared an official X post mentioning that,
“Celebrate the arrival of two holiday-themed LTMs, Get in snowball fights and fight for loot in Hot Zones as you deploy to Area 99 in Holiday Rush and Urzikstan in Slay Ride Resurgence”
The celebrations originally began on December 5 with the launch of the much-loved Nuketown (Holiday) map, which has turned into a winter wonderland with a remarkable makeover, decorations, Christmas trees, and how we can forget snow— adding a delightful touch to the battleground.
CODMAS is more than just a physical transformation of the map, it introduces snowball fights, where players can pick up snow and use it as a weapon. However, these snowballs may seem amusing but in reality, they are deadly enough to knock out you or the opponent, so Watch Out!
Nuketown has always been a fan-favorite and this creative twist makes the holiday version of this map more exciting than ever. As the event continues to unwrap, players will also get jumped into new Limited-Time Modes (LTMs).
Zombie Mode with New Apperance
Starting December 12, Ran-Snack will compel teams for some grind to gather cookies scattered around the map or steal them from opponents. Depositing the earned cookies will get them power-ups— faster speed and quicker reloads.
All these fresh additions are extended beyond the Nuketown, another mode launching the same day is Infectious Holiday, where the popular Infected mode gets a festive makeover.
Zombies and infected players wear holiday outfits, creating a lighthearted environment in a creepy survival game. For fans of Zombies Mode, Jingle Hells will arrive on December 17, shaping the Liberty Falls map into a snowy, festive war field. Last but not least, Warzone players aren’t left out either.
Two holiday-themed LTMs—Holiday Rush and Slay Ride Resurgence—offer fast-paced action with season challenges like snowball fights and capturing Christmas trees.
With stunning events and other surprises, CODMAS 2024 is doubling the existing thrill in Black Ops 6. Whether you are battling with the snowballs or accumulating cookies, there are a number of engaging activities to enjoy.
