Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are all over the news this week.
On December 20, Lively’s legal team filed a lawsuit outlining her allegations against co-star Baldoni.
The two worked together on It Ends With Us, where Lively portrays Lily Bloom, a flower shop owner caught in an abusive relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle, played by Baldoni.
Now, stars have reacted to Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni, showing their support and sharing their thoughts on the allegations.

But what are the allegations? Lively alleges in her lawsuit that Baldoni and his PR team attacked her public image and that he harassed her. Her lawyers allege that Baldoni and a producer on the film, Jamey Heath, engaged in “inappropriate and unwelcome behavior towards Ms Lively”.
In response, Baldoni and his team denied the allegations, calling them “categorically false.” However, many of Lively’s co-stars have publicly declared their support through various statements.

How did stars react to Blake Lively’s allegations?
Lively’s co-stars in the Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants have spoken up to support her. Lively starred in Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants in 2005 and its sequel in 2008 alongside Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, and Amber Tamblyn.
According to Variety, the ladies released a joint statement online.
The statement begins: “As Blake’s friends and sisters for over 20 years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation.
“Throughout the filming of ‘It Ends with Us,’ we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.”
Blake accused Baldoni of attempting to run a smear campaign against her in her lawsuit. In August, Baldoni hired a crisis PR team when rumors swirled of a feud between himself and Lively.
The statement continues: “We are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, celebrated, and resourced as our friend Blake, she can face forceful retaliation for daring to ask for a safe working environment.”
It goes on to praise Blake’s “courage” and encourages readers to review the complaint themselves.
Who are Blake’s co-stars?
Lively’s co-stars from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants are all well-known actresses. Bledel gained fame as Rory Gilmore in Gilmore Girls. Tamblyn is recognized for her early role as Emily Quartermaine in General Hospital. Ferrera is best known for starring as Betty Suarez in Ugly Betty and recently as Gloria in the Barbie movie.
Are they close to Lively?
If the ladies calling themselves “Blake’s friends and sisters for over 20 years” didn’t show you how close they are, something else will. The ladies reunited to support Ferrera at the Barbie premiere last year. Ferrera gushed over her former co-stars, saying “I love these women with all of my heart.”
Considering the feminist themes that are explored by Barbie, we’d be surprised if Ferrera didn’t speak out.
We love them!
Has anyone else reacted to the Blake Lively Justin Baldoni situation?
Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends With Us, took to Instagram to support Lively. She shared a photo of the two hugging and praised her on her Instagram story.
Hoover said: “You have been nothing but honest, kind, and patient since the day we met. Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”
Hoover shared a screenshot of the joint statement by Lively’s co-stars and spoke about her thoughts on social media.
Blake Lively’s A Simple Favor director, Paul Feig, reacted to The New York Times article about her lawsuit. On X, he wrote: “I’ve now made two movies with Blake, and she’s one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented, and kind people I’ve ever worked with. She truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her. It’s awful she was put through this.”
Gwyneth Paltrow took a lighter approach with her support. She shared a photo of Blake’s haircare line, Blake Brown, on her Instagram story, writing: “Just added to my Christmas wish list.”
Blake’s sister Robyn shared her support for her sister as well. We haven’t seen any other stars react to Lively’s lawsuit yet, but we will be sure to keep you in the loop.
