WWE’s WrestleMania is the grandest stage of them all and the jewel in the crown on the wrestling calendar.

Not only do the superstars put on show-stopping performances in the squared circle, but their entrances are a spectacle of epic production and creativity to match.

With the two-night extravaganza upon us, we’re taking a look at ten of the best mind-blowing entrances in WrestleMania history.

Undertaker’s Rise From The Dead

The Undertaker (in his American Badass persona) was buried alive by his brother Kane weeks before their scheduled match at WrestleMania 20 (2004).

With Undertaker seemingly dead, Kane and the 20,000 fans in attendance at Madison Square Garden would witness one of, if not the most epic entrances of all time at the showcase of immortals.

After Kane’s entrance, the lights went dark and Undertaker’s former manager led a group of torch-bearing druids to the entrance rampway. The famous gong sounded signalling Undertaker’s music and he entered the arena in his Deadman persona. It was the first time in four years he portrayed the legendary character.

Cena’s Clone Army

At WrestleMania 25 (2009), John Cena had an army of 100 Cena clones march out to the arena and line up on either side of the entrance rampway.

Cena entered the ring by running down the middle of the clones, whilst they all performed his signature “you can’t see me” hand gesture.

What it lacked in production value it had in creativity, and it produced a very unique and special spectacle for the fans. It remains one of the 16-time world champion’s most memorable ring entrances.

HBK’s Zipline

The heartbreak kid Shawn Michaels wowed fans at WrestleMania 12 (1996) when he zip-lined down to the ring from the top of the arena to his iconic “Sexy Boy” theme song.

This came minutes before facing Bret Hart in a 60-minute long Iron Man match for the then WWF Championship. HBK would go on to capture the gold.

They don’t call him Mr WrestleMania for nothing.

New Day’s Booty O’s Box

Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods aka The New day, made their entrance from a box of cereal at WrestleMania 32 (2016). You read that right.

A giant box of the WWE group’s own cereal – Booty O’s – was placed at the top of the entrance way with the three inside. When their catchy music – “it’s a new day, yes it is!” – hit, the box tipped over and out popped the trio amongst massive pieces of cereal.

And if that wasn’t enough, the design of their attire was inspired by Dragon Ball Z. Woods’s outfit was modeled after Vegeta.

Bray Wyatt’s Fiend

The late Bray Wyatt was truly a creative force and his WrestleMania 31 (2021) entrance was a masterclass in capturing the imagination.

Bray’s persona The Fiend has been burned alive by Randy Orton in a Firefly Inferno Match months prior to this WrestleMania showdown. The Fiend suffered from a burned and charred face, but this entrance marked a resurrection.

The stadium went dark and Alexa Bliss appeared skipping down to the ring. She stood next to a giant Jack-in-the-Box and demonic music played as she cranked the handle. After some suspenseful moments, The Fiend burst out of the box fully healed from its burns.

Triple H’s Judgment Day

Nobody makes a WrestleMania entrance like Triple H. He could have a list all on his own. One his most spectacular entrances came at WrestleMania 31 (2015) in the Levi’s Stadium.

The cerebral assassin was facing WCW icon Sting, who had just signed with the WWE. It was Sting’s debut match, which only added to the aura of the moment.

Before Hunter’s entrance, a video package featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 terminator played. He says “WrestleMania… Judgment Day is here. It’s time to play the game!”.

The stadium goes dark and red lasers fill the ring, before Triple H emerges from a raised platform wearing a metallic skull mask and armor resembling a Terminator cyborg.

Some critics felt it leaned too much into the Terminator Genisys film promo, but it’s undeniably a spectacular high-budget entrance fitting for the grandest stage.

Edge’s Brood Tribute

Before doing battle with The Demon Finn Balor inside Hell in a Cell, a red light covered the entrance way for the start of Edge’s entrance at WrestleMania 39 (2023).

A barrage of flame pyrotechnics go off and the R-rated superstar emerges from the floor surrounded by a ring of fire. He stands motionless donning a menacing skull mask as South Of Heaven by Slayer fills the stadium.

It’s a goosebump moment, as he pays homage to his time in the WWE group The Brood.

The Rock’s Flamethrower

The great one, the people’s champion, the final boss, The Rock showed up at WrestleMania 32 (2015) with a flamethrower.

His appearance was to announce that WrestleMania 32 had set the all-time attendance record for the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

When the iconic music hit – “if you smelllll!!!” – The Rock emerged carrying a flamethrower and would proceed to set giant letters that spelled out ‘Rock’ ablaze. It was an incredible visual.

The most electrifying man in entertainment also had The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders lined up either side of the rampway for his memorable entrance.

Flair’s Final Bout

“WOOO!”. That’s right, Ric Flair, the Stylin’, profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin’ n’ dealin’ son of a gun!

Ric Flair faced HBK at WrestleMania 25 (2009) in what would be his final ever match in WWE. It was the perfect send off and his final WrestleMania ring entrance was both emotional and glorious.

The Natured Boy rolled back the years and dazzled in one of his iconic glittering robes, relishing every second of it and rightly so.

Flair strut his stuff against a backdrop of incredible fireworks worthy of a 16-time world champion and a career that spanned six decades.

Bianca’s Marching Band

Bianca Belair marched into WrestleMania 38 (2002) with The Texas Southern HBCU Band and made a statement at her third WrestleMania.

The live marching band, who go by the name of Ocean of Soul, took to the stage and began playing a powerful brass-heavy rendition of Bianca’s theme song, Watch Me Shine by CFO$. It had shades of Beyonce’s famous Coachella show, in which she integrated a live marching band into her set.

The performance took Belair’s high-energy vibe to another level and she would go on to defeat Becky Lynch to become WWE Raw Women’s Champion. It would be the beginning of her record-setting reign at 420 days.
