Twins Seven and Souli Morris may have only been born three minutes apart, but it meant that they were born in different years.

Aliyah Kiyomi Morris gave birth to Seven at 11.59 on December 31, 2023, with sister Souli arriving at 12.02 on January 1, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.

Unsurprisingly, Seven was the last birth of the year at the hospital, while Souli was the first of 2024.

But, most importantly, both babies were healthy, weighing in at a solid 6lbs 9oz. They and their mother are doing well and having some well-deserved rest, according to a news release from the hospital.

While twins being born in different years is rare, it has happened a few other times recently – two instances happened in 2022 in the US alone.

But at least they won’t have to share their birthdays in future!
