The crossover between It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Abbott Elementary has continued at the Super Bowl.

Both Philadelphia based sitcoms came together for a crossover episode of Abbott recently, with the Always Sunny crew turning up at the Philly public school in a much hyped edition of the hugely successful ABC mockumentary.

And it would appear the casts of both shows have remained close, as Rob McElhenney took to Instagram over Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans to share a picutre of himself with his wife and Always Sunny co-star Kaitlin Olson alongside Abbott stars Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams.

McElhenney, Olson and Brunson all appear decked out in Philadelphia Eagles merchandise, while Williams is sporting a black top and chain. McElhenney and Brunson are both Philly natives, while Olson was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and Spokane, Washington. Williams, meanwhile, is a native New Yorker, being born in Westchester County and raised in Yonkers.

The quartet will be hoping the Eagles enjoy better luck than the last time they faced the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII two years ago, losing 38-35 in Arizona. The Eagles only Super Bowl success came in 2017, when they defeated Tom Brady’s New England Patriots 41-33 at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Despite the continued brilliance of Saquon Barkley this season, the Eagles still come into the Super Bowl as underdogs against a dominant Kansas City Chiefs team that lost only two games all season and have won three of the last four Super Bowls.

Philadelphia reached the Big Game after defeating the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, the LA Rams in the Divisional Round and then finally the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game.
