The White Lotus returned to HBO over the weekend with a fresh crop of holidaymakers at a luxury Thai resort.
Talent like Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aimee Lou Wood have all made their debut in the third season of the Mike White-created series and everyone is talking about it.

The only billed returning character was Natasha Rothwell, who is coming back as hotel spa manager Belinda. She appeared in the first season and quickly became enmeshed in Tanya McQuoid’s (Jennifer Coolidge) schemes.
However, eagle-eyed viewers will have spotted that someone from the orbit of Coolidge’s character – who met her tragic end at the end of her Sicily vacation last season -and eyebrows were raised.
Greg made an appearance in the premiere episode. He was introduced to Chelsea – played by Wood – as her new friend Chloe’s boyfriend. The pair are said to live in the local area and have done so for the past year.

What has Greg done on The White Lotus?
Greg was first introduced in the first season. We first learned of his existence as he had a neighbouring room to Tanya at the Maui hotel. Tanya and viewers were led to believe he worked in land management.
Their whirlwind romance prompted Tanya to drop all her commitments to hotel spa manager Belinda – who also returned for the third season – like her promise to fund her own wellness retreat.
In the second season, they were included on the guestlist at the hotel in Sicily. After Greg expressed his outrage that Tanya had brought her assistant Portia – played by Haley Lu Richardson – he then left their getaway to attend to some business in Denver.

Throughout the second series, it is revealed that Greg is less innocent than he seems after Tanya and Portia are taken under the wing of a fabulous gaggle of gays.
Their new friends are implied to be part of a plot to take Tanya down in an attempt to snatch her fortune. After twigging on to their plan, Tanya dies trying to get off the yacht after seeing off her attackers.
