The Monkeys Did It Theory

Certain corners of the internet are convinced the killer isn’t one of Mike White’s expertly crafted characters but rather just simply a monkey who got their hands on someone’s poorly stored firearm.
The Seven Deadly Sins Theory

Reddit has been going into hyperdrive with the idea that each season represents one of the seven deadly sins: lust, greed, gluttony, pride, sloth, envy and wrath.
Some have argued that one character will see their downfall marked by one of these ideas after the first seemed to represent greed, while season two appeared to be all about lust.
“The White Lotus Season 1 is about colonialism, and the takeover of things that do not belong to you for profit. Also called Greed,” one user wrote on the forum. “The White Lotus Season 2 focuses on the many sexual aspects of people’s lives, and how it affects them. This is called Lust.”

Greg (Jon Gries) getting a surprise return to The White Lotus may not have been that shocking to many as his storyline was left rather open-ended following the death of his wife, Tanya.
However, many thought that Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) could be in line to inherit her fortune after their fallen-through arrangement made in the first season.
One person wrote on the forum site, “I agree that Belinda’s return strongly suggests that Tanya will be revisited in some way. I would emphasize, however, that the Belinda-Tanya misadventure would simply be a jumping off point for season 3 Belinda. It is the backstory with which viewers are familiar, so it is the place to begin. But season 3 Belinda would have an independent story arc of her own; Tanya would just be a problematic memory glimpsed in her rear view mirror.”
So far, nothing has been revealed about his intentions, but his girlfriend Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) has already made friends with Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood).

The see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil theory

Others pointed out how the Japanese saying ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ applies to much of the entire series. For example, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a bronze monkey statue of in the office of Armond (Murray Barlett), who represented the show’s first death.
Some fans quickly noted how the Ratliff kids Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger), Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola) sat on the boat to the hotel, which looked exactly like the motto. Hmmm, maybe. The eldest Saxon is already grossing everyone out with his behaviour.
Despite all these theories sloshing about, we don’t know yet, but luckily, all will be revealed.
