- Season three of the dating show has just come to Netflix

Love On The Spectrum’s Tanner Smith had the encounter with Jack Black that he’d been dreaming of on the new episode of the Kelly Clarkson show.
Smith appeared on the show to talk about the new season of Netflix’s dating show Love On The Spectrum. His admiration of Black is well-known, and the last time he appeared on the show, he got a video message from the actor and musician.
However, he said he hoped to go one step further. “I want to be 31 when I meet him,” Smith said.

On that same set, he got his wish.
“What’s up, Tanner? Jack Black here,” Black said, first via video.
“I still cannot wait to meet you in person, but I’m on the road with A Minecraft Movie right now, but luckily, I have insane ninja kung-fu powers — which means I can come through these doors and I’m gonna see you right now,” he said.
Black then ran out on stage. “Jack, I’m glad to finally meet you!” Smith said as they hugged.
“This is the best day of my life”
“You’re so handsome, you’re looking good, Jack!” Smith told him after they sat down.
“You know, I do work out a little bit nowadays,” Black joked. Even he was feeling emotional, having to remove his glasses because the lenses were fogging up.
The sweet part is that it seems from this encounter that while Smith is a fan of Black, Black is a fan of him too – and told him as much.
“Thank you so much, Mrs. Kelly, this is the best day of my life,” Smith said.
What is Love On The Spectrum?
Love On The Spectrum follows a group of young autistic people as they attempt to navigate the world of dating. Originating in Australia, the American version’s third season has just landed on Netflix.
Smith was part of the show’s second season and also appears in the third.
“The show itself has actually become the template for people to then think, ‘That’s what love can look like in my life, and I can be like that character who doesn’t necessarily fit the typical stereotype’,” creator Karina Holden told Tudum. “The uniqueness of individuals within Love on the Spectrum has allowed people to be confident to pursue their version of relationships and friendships and love.”
