A leaked image has supposedly given us our first look at the Milly Alcock Supergirl costume.

Leaked set photos have given audiences their first look at the Milly Alcock Supergirl look, with some going so far as to label it as “perfect.” 

Alcock was cast as Kryptonian hero Kara Zoe-El AKA Supergirl in January 2024. The Australian star is set to star in her own feature film for the newly-rebooted DC Cinematic Universe, with Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow scheduled to hit screens in June 2026.

The film will be directed by fellow Aussie Craig Gillespie, the same filmmaker who gave us the Fright Night remake and Disney’s live-action Cruella starring Emma Stone. 

With filming starting earlier this year, leaked photography from the film’s set and pre-production appears to show Alcock in her Supergirl costume.

With an aesthetic that’s sleek and similar to the tone set by the previously revealed look at David Corenswet’s Superman costume, fans appear pleased by the direction Supergirl is taking. 

Milly Alcock Supergirl: What have fans said?

A leaked look at Alcock’s Supergirl costume emerged on the social media site X posted by a concept artist named Felipe Illa. 

It’s unclear where the user sourced the image from – or if it’s official – but that hasn’t stopped fans from chiming in on the costume.

“That looks great. Way better than Corenswet’s suit,” suggested one user.

“Damn she’s actually perfect for supergirl,” offered another user.

Meanwhile, this look matched up quite seamlessly with leaked set photos captured from Gillespie’s production.

Commenting on this post, another user reiterated that they thought Alcock’s look was “perfect”.

Meanwhile, another fan was pleased that the movie appears to be sticking to its source material of the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic arc.

Will Supergirl be in James Gunn’s Superman?

It’s currently unclear whether Alcock will make her Superwoman debut in James Gunn’s Superman or in her own feature film.

That said, many seem to think the character will debut alongside Corenswet later this year.

In late February, Gunn commented on these theories, although his comments didn’t really clear things up.

Replying to a question on threads about how much screen time Alcock will have in his Superman movie, Gunn replied “I never even said she was in the movie,” complete with a odd face emoji.
