Will Smith is being a troll again, and this time he’s trolling his Bad Boys co-star Martin Lawrence. Smith, 56, joked about Lawrence’s age after the actor celebrated his 60th birthday on 16 April.
Lawrence and Smith are long-time friends, having starred in the franchise since 1995. In the films, the actors play best friends Marcus and Mike. The crime thriller is about the best friend detectives hunting drug dealers across Miami.

Despite not having a huge box office gross ($141 million worldwide), the franchise has become more successful with each movie released. Bad Boys: For Life, the most recent film, grossed over $400 million.
Currently, there are talks for a Bad Boys 5. Lawrence recently gave an exciting update to Entertainment Tonight, saying that the “studio is” talking about a possible fifth movie. However, he said that he and Smith had not talked about the possibility together yet. Where there is a Will, there is a way.

To celebrate his birthday, Smith wrote in a birthday post for Lawrence, declaring he didn’t look over 70 years old. In the caption, he wrote: “Happy Bday Marty Mar!! You don’t look a day over 70 ;-)”.
In response, Lawrence commented on the photo, “Always love, brotha 🙏🏾🙏🏾”.

Since the two are best friends, the joke was adored by fans. Furthermore, Bad Boys j celebrated its 30th anniversary, as the first film was released on 7 April 1995 in the USA.
As well as being long-time besties, Lawrence and Smith continue to show appreciation for their buddy cop franchise. Both posted photos on Instagram expressing gratitude for the people involved in the movie.
Smith wrote in a post, “30 years ago @jerrybruckheimer, Don Simpson and @michaelbay took a chance on us and Bad Boys was born!! Grateful for all the love y’all have shown us thru the years 👊🏾”.
