- Travis Scott interrupted the main event of WrestleMania 41
- The rapper was laid out by Cody Rhodes
- Scott’s interference helped Cena win his 17th WWE Title

Travis Scott, fresh from Coachella, turned up at WrestleMania 41 to help John Cena win a record breaking 17th World Title.
Probably not a sentence you ever thought you’d read up until just over a month ago.
The rapper, who appeared with The Rock at WWE’s Elimination Chamber show in Toronto, last month, interrupted the main event between Cena and now former champion Cody Rhodes to turn the tide in the favour of Cena. Although he took his licks on the way.
Travis Scott Receives His Receipt
Scott had already burst Rhodes’ eardrum at Elimination Chamber during a beatdown involving Cena and The Rock. This time round, while The Rock was nowhere to be seen, Scott arrived as Cena was struggling to put the American Nightmare down for the count.
The rapper and Cena conspired to double team Rhodes, only for the champ to fight both off. He then laid out Scott with his Cross Rhodes finisher.

Rhodes would turn around to be met by Cena, though. Clutching the WWE Title belt, Cena aimed to lay out the champion with it. Rhodes managed to wrestle the belt from Cena’s grasp, however. But Rhodes could not deliver the crushing blow to Cena. The former Doctor of Thuganomics seized on Rhodes’ indecision and nailed him with a low blow.
Scott’s Distraction Enough to Hand Cena Victory
One title belt shot later and West Newbury, Massachusetts’ finest was a record breaking 17 time World Champion. As Cena’s music blared out across Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Scott recovered to celebrate with the newly crowned 17 time champion.
The Rock has gone on record revealing that Scott has indeed been undertaking wrestling training. However, whether that is for an actual full length match or instances such as tonight’s remains to be seen. During the beatdown of Rhodes at Elimination Chamber last month, Scott delivered a shot to the side of Rhodes’ head that legitimately burst the American Nightmare’s eardrum.
With Cena confirming at tonight’s post-WrestleMania press conference that he will be on Raw tomorrow night, it will be interesting to see if Scott appears alongside him once more.
