Mountainhead is the new film by Succession creator Jesse Armstrong. The HBO film stars Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Ramy Youssef and Cory Michael.
Plotwise, it is dubbed to tell the tale of a group of billionaire pals meeting up during a raging financial crisis.

With a scheduled release on HBO and Max on 31 May, the film recently released its trailer.

Some suggested the conceit might be tired

Many thought the movie looked too similar to other properties from the premium cable channel.
Recently, HBO have had smash hits like The White Lotus and Billions. This is along with Armstrong’s media empire satire starring Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin.
