Additionally, Hamil has even supposedly discussed the idea with Stan, who is keen on it.
“Do you know how many conversations he and I have had about this? Literally there was a moment that I’m, like, I’m sure you’ve seen the picture of you as Luke Skywalker. He then told me… “Mark and I have actually talked about this,” Nania said.
He continued, ” Not anything official on Disney’s level of Star Wars, but I guess Mark Hamill’s been, like, he’s a fantastic actor, let him do it. But then Sebastian, being as awesome as he is, he’s like, ‘Mark is still doing the job. I don’t wanna take the job from him, and he’s still working, you’re not gonna beat the original.”
As always Stan is a humble king!
Could Sebastian Stan play Luke Skywalker?
According to fans, yes. However, Stan is an in-demmand actor. He is set to star in two huge Marvel movies after Thunderbolts, Avengers: Doomsday, and Secret Wars. In addition to those Marvel projects, he is also starring in Fjord and Let the Evil Go West.
In terms of timelines, he may be able to play a young Luke, but he is already 42. Hamill was around 25 or 26 during his first Star Wars film in 1977, so Stan has 16 years on that.
