She’s the singer who’s taking the pop world by storm.
And last weekend, Barry Keoghan once again proved he’s Sabrina Carpenter’s number one fan.
The star – whose new track Espresso has reached the fourth spot in the Billboard charts and number one over in the UK – took to the stage on Sunday (May 26) to perform at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton, Bedfordshire.
And while she strutted her stuff to mesmerize crowds at the festival, Keoghan, 31, was watching from the sidelines – and looked extremely happy to be doing so.
The Saltburn actor could be seen excitedly clapping along to his partner’s performance, even ducking down to get a better view of Carpenter, who dazzled onstage in an orange minidress.
His behavior didn’t go unnoticed by fans online, who praised Keoghan’s antics.
“He’s so in loveee,” wrote one fan, while another added, “They’re so cute omg.”
‘Does he not have a child to look after?’
But while most were enamored by Keoghan’s show of support, others were skeptical.
“I’m so tired of sabrina carpenter and barry keoghan like idk if this is the hater in me but my goddd ENOUGH,” lamented one.
Others queried when Keoghan managed to spend time with his one-year-old son Brando, who he shares with his ex-partner Alyson Kierans. The former couple were together for two years before splitting in mid-2023.
“He hasn’t seen his kid in the last 5 months,” joked one Twitter user about Keoghan following Carpenter around her gigs. When a follower asked if he had a child, the user cheekily responded, “When he remembers, yes.”
TikTok users had a similar ax to grind.
“Does he ever spend time with his one-year-old?” said one. “Does he not have a child to look after?” another said.
This isn’t the first time Keoghan has fangirled over Carpenter.
Earlier this month, the actor threw a lavish 25th birthday party for his partner, who was first linked to the Irish star late last year.
Keoghan was also spotted dancing in the audience as Carpenter performed at this year’s Coachella festival.
