She’s the pop princess who’s recent single has become a TikTok sensation.

And not only is Sabrina Carpenter celebrating her first UK number one hit thanks to her song, Espresso, but the singer also turned 25 last weekend.

Ringing in her mid-twenties, Carpenter was treated to a lavish birthday bash, hosted by her boyfriend, Barry Keoghan.

The Saltburn star, 31, invited the likes of rapper Ice Spice to the party, which was held at DUMBO House in Brooklyn, and featured a cocktail list which – of course – saw guests enjoy several espresso martinis!

However, it was Carpenter’s birthday cake that really grabbed fans’ attention on social media – as it featured a meme of actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Adorned with yellow frosting flowers, the cake had one of the actor’s selfies on it, edited to look like a Snapchat message, with a caption reading, “Nooo don’t turn 25 [you’re] so sexy aha.” The meme is a nod to a recurring joke about the actor’s love life – specifically, that he doesn’t date women over the age of 25.

Branding Carpenter as “iconic”, one fan wrote, “She’s so unserious, love her.” Another joked, “*marked safe from DiCaprio*”.

‘That’s that Andie Anderson Espresso’

Rom-com fans were also thrilled to see that Carpenter – who was first linked to Keoghan in December, and went red carpet official with the Irish star at the Met Gala last week – made a reference to a classic noughties film with her outfit choice at the bash. In other celebrity news, Billie Eilish revealed she had an existential crisis on her 20th birthday, noting that everyone in the room was an employee of hers.

The former Disney channel star wore a yellow, cross-backed gown, similar to the one worn by Kate Hudson’s character Andie Anderson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Sharing a carousel of photos from the night to her 34.2 million Instagram followers, Carpenter included a shot of her dress – to which Hudson herself commented, “That’s that Andie Anderson Espresso.”
Additionally, Hilary Duff recently welcomed her fourth child, sparking confusion among fans about the baby’s name.
