Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un take a ride in a Russian-made Aurus Senat

When it comes to toxic masculinity, look no further than Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un joyriding around Pyongyang in a Russian Aurus.

While Jeremy Clarkson, former host of the BBC’s Top Gear driving show, was considered toxic after assaulting his producer when he was hungry, his action was a minor infraction compared to Mr Kim’s reputed insistence on feeding recalcitrant army officers to his pet sharks. Or indeed Vlad’s preference for poisoning people who tell him things he doesn’t like to hear.

Nevertheless, watching Vlad cheekily grinning behind the wheel while Kim searched for a suitable playlist, it seemed butter wouldn’t melt on the dynamic duo’s toxic tongues as they sped around the North Korean capital.

Both were heard to be chatting excitedly as they listened to North Korean marching tunes – although ominously they failed to find the funny side when they got stuck in a drive-thru while ordering borscht and kimchi.
