She’s the pop star who burst onto the charts back in 2009.

And now Kesha is back with a new album – and label.

The singer, 37, was previously signed to RCA and Kemosabe Records, but has now launched Kesha Records to release her music.

The album is slated to drop next year, and will be distributed globally in partnership with ADA.

In a statement, Kesha said, “My name has become synonymous with transparency, integrity, and safety, and I want to ensure that these values are upheld for myself and any future artists signed to my label.

“Music has the power to connect the world, and I aspire for my work to be a beacon of light and goodness. I am excited to take control of my narrative and rewrite my story in the music business.”

Cat Kreidich, president of ADA, added, “Since the start of her career, Kesha’s authenticity has distinguished her as a true artist whose vibrant self-expression resonates strongly with her fans. We believe ADA is the ideal home for her, and we’re honored and committed to supporting Kesha as an independent artist while maintaining her creative integrity and unapologetic bold-spirit.”

In December, it was reported how Kesha had parted ways with both Kemosabe and Vector Management – which came six months after she settled multiple lawsuits with her former producer and label owner Dr. Luke.

‘Working with Dr Luke started a lot of conversations’

Earlier this month, Katy Perry finally spoke out about working with Dr. Luke – real name Lukasz Gottwald – on her “feminist” single, Woman’s World

While Kesha sued the producer for emotional abuse and sexual assault in 2014, fans were outraged at Perry’s decision to work with him.

“The fact that Kesha’s abuser worked on Katy Perry’s new music which is not making profit and now she is re-recording one of the biggest hits he produced which will cost him royalties is so satisfying,” wrote one fan on social media.

“I understand that [working with him] started a lot of conversations, and he was one of many collaborators that I collaborated with. But the reality is, it comes from me,” Perry told the Call Me Daddy podcast. “The truth is, I wrote these songs from my experience of my whole life going through this metamorphosis, and he was one of the people to help facilitate all that. One of the writers, one of the producers. I am speaking from my own experience.”
